One Skincare™ Disclaimers

We do not offer an ongoing service for all your medical concerns and are not here to replace your regular practitioner who cares for all your medical needs and conditions.  Nor are we an emergency service.  If you have any urgent concerns we recommend you contact your regular medical practitioner, after hours service or emergency department

Our physical and mental health are intrinsically linked.  It can leave us feeling upset and distressed.  If you feel you need support we would recommend that you contact your regular medical practitioner for guidance and support or The Samaritans (?hyperlink or phone number) if you feel you need to speak to someone straight away.

Our One Skincare™ is designed specifically for you, but there are limits when prescribing via telehealth, therefore it is important you update us if your health or medications change as this may affect the safety and ongoing use of our products (this includes pregnancy, trying to conceive or breastfeeding).  Equally it is important you advise your regular Medical Practitioner(s) that you are using our products as our actives are all prescribed ingredients.

There are rare occasions where you may see minimal improvement after the initial three months or you may suffer reactions to the products that are beyond what we would normally expect.  In this instance it is advisable to seek the advice of your regular medical practitioner.

We wish that you could use our products today and wake tomorrow with perfect skin, but skin needs time for changes to happen.  This is because skin cells undergo a constant cycle which takes 2-3 months to complete as new cells move up to the skins surface to replace old skin cells, therefore, it can take this long (2-3 months) for most people to start to see improvements in their skin.  Sometimes it can be quicker or longer as results vary from person to person, and will be dependent on side effects and strengths of prescriptives used.

Due to the nature of our products there are powerful actives that can cause side effects.  The most common of these being redness/irritation, burning sensation and dryness.  To avoid/improve this, make sure you are used a stripped back skincare routine with a gentle cleanser and moisturiser.  Try to avoid exfoliants, masks, acids, treatments or other actives until your skin is used to One Skincare™.

When treating acne, sometimes your skin can get worse (purging) rather than better. This can be a normal process for some people.  Stick with your One Skincare™ and skincare routine.  You can contact one of our practitioners here:

Most of our actives can make your skin more sensitive to UV light, so it is important to use a moisturiser contacting SPF.
