Skincare Routine
One Skincare
We recommend applying this at night after you have cleansed your skin
Cleanse
We recommend using either a glycolic acid face wash or daily face wash with lactic acid to gently remove any dirt or grease gathered on the skin and clean the pores around the nose and chin. Depending on how your skin is responding to your One Skincare you may need to use a gentle cleanser/wash that is ceramide rich over the initial weeks or when you have a dose change.
Rehydrate
Apply serum with high dose vitamin C or vitamin B3 (niacinamide) in combination hyaluronic acid to super hydrate and refine any superficial lines, blemishes and wrinkles.
Serums may be used alone in place of a moisturiser under makeup. If you prefer to wear a day moisturiser we would recommend a day cream with ceramides to help maintain your skin barrier, many of these contain SPF to protect the skin from UV.
Around The Eyes
Eye cream can be applied at night after your One Skincare. Eye cream formulas often help reduce darkness under the eyes, calm puffiness and hydrate as they are peptide rich.
Cover Up
Another essential step in maintaining a youthful complexion is to protect your skin from the sun. When using our One Skincare products skin can be more sensitive to the sun so we recommend using a moisturiser that contains SPF daily, but if you are planning a day at the beach or out in the sun we would recommend invisible zinc which acts as a physical barrier to the sun, is light and effective.
COMPOUNDING
Compounding is the science of making pharmaceuticals from raw ingredients, so they can be customised to fit individual patient needs. The is the core value of Skinplicity and our One Skincare.
Compounding enables General Practitioners and Specialists in almost every area of medicine to access products for their patient’s specific needs that are otherwise unavailable. It enables us to formulate individual doses and strengths and gradually increase (or decrease) them as appropriate. We can reformulate the dose in a different form/base where needed to offer more or less hydration without the use of commercially used fillers.
